Kathy Cantoli’s journey to owning Gotcha Covered of North Tucson and Marana is one fueled by curiosity, creativity, and a deep passion for design. From earning a bachelor’s degree in Astronomy and working at NASA in gamma-ray astronomy to earning a master’s degree in Computer Science and building a 25-year career in Software Performance Engineering, Kathy’s professional background reflects her determination and diverse talents. Despite her accomplishments in the tech world, her lifelong love for interior design and beautiful homes always remained close to her heart. When the opportunity to join Gotcha Covered arose, she knew it was the perfect chance to turn her passion into a fulfilling career.
Kathy appreciates that owning her own business not only allows her to focus on what she loves. Kathy finds immense joy in helping clients transform their houses into beautiful, personalized homes. Working with fabrics, colors, and treatment styles to bring her clients' visions to life inspires her every day.
Having lived in the Tucson area for 3.5 years and with family ties to the community spanning 25 years, Kathy has a deep appreciation for the area’s charm. Kathy and her husband enjoy evenings spent stargazing and astrophotography, as well as observing sunspots and flares.
When she’s not working, Kathy’s interests include astronomy, fused glass art, cooking, wine, travel, and animals. She and her husband Sergio share their home with Lola, a beautiful blonde Poochon, who adds extra joy to her days.
