Meet The Team

Hello! I am Angela, design consultant and owner of Gotcha Covered of Bergen County. I met my husband, José, while working and living in New York City. We were both actively involved in our community and found that we had much more in common than just that.

While we will always love New York, we soon found ourselves looking for a thriving community outside of Manhattan where our family could continue to grow. Teaneck was just that place! We appreciate the family-oriented atmosphere of this community and have loved raising our family here.

I have always wanted to do something meaningful for others that adds value and beauty to their home and lives. Early in my career, I worked in impact investing helping families and the community. Now, it is so impactful to see how something as simple as in-home consultations with a knowledgeable designer can help clients save time and bring so much joy into their homes. It is an honor to be on this adventure and I look forward to helping every client find the perfect window treatment solutions for their home or workplace. We have an amazing variety of options available from blinds and shutters to shades and draperies.

While balancing work and family keeps me extremely busy, I still enjoy finding time to clear my head and go running. My real passion is sailing and have been fortunate enough to get to be involved in some regatta judging!

Hello! I am José, owner, design consultant, and installer for Gotcha Covered of Bergen County. I was born and raised in the Bronx. After college in Florida, I came back home to New York City and built a successful sales career and became actively involved in the community, which is how I met Angela.

We both appreciated the surrounding area outside New York and chose Bergen County to build our family. We are active members of the Teaneck community and are thrilled to be raising our son here. I love the positive environment that this community has given our family.

I have seen firsthand how management and customer service can make or break a business. With my extensive career in sales and in experience in supply chain management, I have seen all sides of the industry. Gotcha Covered is a fantastic way to incorporate my business management and sales experience with Angela’s vision and eye for design. I also enjoy incorporating all of the exciting new technologies that are now available with motorized window treatments and smart home integrations. As the primary installer, I enjoy getting to be with the client from start to finish and seeing the entire project through to completion.

Community involvement is still a very important part of my life and I am currently the executive director for a nonprofit organization offering scholarships within the community. My son is the other primary focus of my life and I love being able to be involved in his sports teams and activities. In my free time, I love golfing and staying active outdoors.
